Emelia Arthur is a Ghanaian politician and a former deputy Western Regional Minister of Ghana.[1] She was appointed by President John Evan Atta Mills and served till January 2013.[citation needed] In December 2024 she won the parliamentary election as the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate in the Shama constituency of the Western Region of Ghana, with 57% of the votes cast.[2]

Arthur was appointed Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture in January 2025, by President John Dramani Mahama.[3]
