Keily Blair (born 1982 or 1983) is an Irish lawyer and business executive who is the CEO of OnlyFans.

Early life and education

Keily Blair (born 1982 or 1983)[1] is a native of Dublin, Ireland,[1] where she "attended a private, all girls, Catholic school".[2] She visited the United States,[when?] her host being an aunt who had done courses at Oxford Brookes University in England.[2] She was, thereafter, "offered a place through clearing" to study there,[2] and so—as she presents at her LinkedIn social media page, as reported by Alexandra Sternlicht of Fortune—Blair moved to Oxford, England, in 2000,[3][better source needed] to study for a B.A. in law and politics.[3][2]

Career

Blair is trained as a lawyer and spent early career years in English law firms.[4] The Legal Cheek Careers Team notes that "[b]y the time Blair started the LPC [Legal Practice Course] at BPP [Law School] in 2004, she’d secured a training contract at... [the] firm Allen & Overy", a "Magic Circle" firm, joining them (by her description) in September 2005.[5] After that, she held a position at Morrison & Foerster.[when?][where?][4] As of May 2019, Keily was the Director, Co-Lead of Contentious Data Protection Strategy, Legal and Compliance Services at Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) in the United Kingdom.[6] Blair left Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, the London office of a San Francisco law firm,[7][better source needed] in January 2022, where she was head of cyber, privacy and data innovation,[4][1] with OnlyFans among her clients.[3][8][verification needed] She departed after being recruited by OnlyFans, where she began as chief strategy and operations officer;[3] Todd Spangler, writing for Variety, describes her initial responsibilities there as leading their "trust and safety operations and [being] responsible for developing, executing and communicating OnlyFans’ strategic initiatives and future goals to users, commercial partners and other key stakeholders."[4] During this time, she was an advocate for the Online Safety Bill in the UK.[1] Blair was named chief executive officer of OnlyFans in July 2023, succeeding Amrapali Gan.[4]

Awards and recognition

Blair was the recipient of the "Women in the City Future Leaders Award" in 2015.[clarification needed][5] In 2016, she won Spark21's "Inspirational Women in Law Award", its first recipient.[5][6]

Personal life

As of September 2022, Blair lived in London.[1] As of January 2018, she was described as being a single parent to two.[5]
