The Nenmara double murder case, also known as the Nenmara murder case 2019 and 2025, was a double murder that took place in Nemmara, Palakkad district of Kerala. Chenthamara, who was convicted in the 2019 Sajitha murder case, brutally hacked to death Meenakshi Lakshmi (76) and her son Sudhakaran (58) in Pothundi Thirudampadam Boyanil, who was released on parole in 2025.[1][2][3]

Murder

[edit]

Chenthamara, who was in jail for the murder of Sudhakaran's wife Sajitha in 2019, a native of Nenmara, committed this double murder after being released on parole in 2025. After the murders, he escaped from the scene. Eyewitnesses reported that he fled to a nearby forest. The Kerala Police started a search on January 27, 2025 to arrest Chenthamara.[4]
