Tulsi – Hamari Badi Sayani[1][2][3] (transl. Tulsi – Is Our Great Companion) is a 2024 Indian drama television series which was aired on Dangal on 1 July 2024 under the banner of Optimystix Entertainment. It replaced the television series Janani – AI Ki Kahani.[4][5][6] It stars Harithi Joshi, Aparna Dixit and Dishank Arora.[7][8]
Plot
[edit]Raghuveer and Janki are happily married couple but their happiness is short-lived when their baby daughter Vrinda is kidnapped and sold by their own relatives. Vrinda is raised as Tulsi by slum people Bunty, Kajri and Gamla who does robbery for their living. Tulsi doesn't knows but vows to find her parents. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she finds out that she is the heir of a rich family and Janki and Raghuveer are her real parents. Rakesh brings Maala who introduced her daughter Chameli as Vrinda and fakes herself to be Tulsi's mother. Seeing Raghuveer and Janaki's love for Chameli Tulsi stays silent even after knowing the truth. Vimala turned out to be the real villain got Tulsi kidnapped because her husband adopted Raghuveer without informing her and made him the heir of his empire. Vimala who wanted her biological son to be the heir planned all these as Raghveer's daughter was to be owner of Raichand property. Raghuveer's twin brother Munna is revealed. Raghuveer and Janaki finds out Tulsi being Vrinda. Maala who was attracted to Raghuveer slept with him and got pregnant with his child. Raghuveer met his brother and Veena (his mother).
Munna, Maala, Vimala, Rakesh and Urmila's plan ill intentions are revealed and are arrested. Raghuveer, Janki and Tulsi unites. But unfortunately, Maala returns and gets Munna killed by Raghuveer and blackmails him. In order save his family he pretends to be Munna and marries Maala making her the owner of Raichand property while Tulsi and Janaki are thrown out of the house.
2 years later
[edit]Tulsi and Janaki are living poor life with Gamla, Bunty and Kajri. Janki earns money by giving tuitions to rich family's children. Maala is living luxurious life with Raghuveer as Munna in the Raichand House and is struggling to become full owner of the property. She gave birth to a son Raja. Tulsi and Janaki met Vikram Sarkar (Janki's old friend) and helps her in getting back what was snatched from them. Vikram turns out to be the antagonist who wants revenge from Raghuveer for some unknown reasons.

Production

[edit]The series was announced by Optimystix Entertainment in June 2024 and it was confirmed by Dangal TV.[9] As child actress, Harithi Joshi had signed to play the lead role while Aparna Dixit and Dishank Arora to play the supporting role for the show[10]
Release
[edit]The first promo of its show was released on 10 June 2024 and featured Harithi Joshi, Aparna Dixit and Dishank Arora.[11]
